Our mission is to launch and support projects that contribute to sustainable development. Together with local partners, we seek to holistically support and strengthen disadvantaged people so that they can lead a fulfilled life in dignity. For us, this means a life without poverty, with good development opportunities and in peace with themselves and their own environment.

According to high standards, we select projects that train and enable disadvantaged people to take up or start a job whose earnings are sufficient to support themselves and their families and to be financially independent. At the same time, these people are supported so that they can grow as personalities and live healthy lives in body and mind.

Helpline International KRG sees itself as a link between the projects abroad and people who want to financially support sustainable development work projects. Our central tasks are public relations as well as the administration and transfer of the collected funds.

We work transparently, on a voluntary basis and focus on disadvantaged people. We keep our work as simple and cost-effective as possible.

Helpline International KRG is politically and denominationally neutral and pursues non-profit goals.

Principles of our Projects

• People are promoted holistically. In addition to professional skills, personality as well as social and health skills are strengthened. Disadvantaged people can achieve a new quality of life in which they can live in peace with themselves and their environment.

• Local staff strive for a long-term commitment that is culturally and linguistically appropriate.

• Close cooperation with local people and local partner organisations.

• Transfer of knowledge and experience based on personal relationships.

• Tasks and responsibilities are handed over to local people gradually and as quickly as possible, so that projects become independent of foreign aid.
